This technique is based on the radiation of a wide spectrum lamp – 400-1400 nanometres – which destroys its targets or chromophores ( light absorbing molecules in the skin ).
Depending on the clinical result that you wish to obtain, the targets are different.
For example, when treating marks, melanin ( of the mark itself ) is treated, whilst blood vessels are targeted when treating redness.
INDICATIONS

This treatment can be carried out on the face, neck, the décolletage and the back of the hands.
It can be used for :
– Sun spots.
– Redness.
– Erythrosis coli, often found on men’s necks, and female décolletage, where the skin appears red/highly pigmented.
– Photo-rejuvenation. The heat produced during the treatment stimulates the fibroblasts of the upper and mid-dermis to produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. This results in a gradual rejuvenation of the skin.
– Improvement of the complexion with tighter pores, and an improved glow.
SESSION
After cleansing the face and checking the absence of contraindication, the doctor applies gel to the skin of the area to be treated.
The eyes are protected by glasses or ocular hulls.
The handpiece of the device, activated by the doctor, delivers an intense light, like a flash.
The usual protocol provides 3 sessions spaced 3 weeks and a maintenance session every 6 months.

Side Effects
This is a painless treatment, and only a very brief sensation of heat on the skin can be felt. There is no recovery time, and it is possible to recommence normal activity straight away.
